Biden's Uncle Frank and the End Times

On December 16, 2022, President “Joe” Biden spoke to a group of veterans at the National Guard Reserve Center in New Castle, Delaware. In the course of his remarks, Biden shared a long and convoluted story about his Uncle Frank refusing a belated Purple Heart for his service fighting in the Battle of the Bulge, or Ardennes Offensive, during WW II. Biden’s fable was riddled with lies and inaccuracies woven into a fantastical timeline that couldn’t withstand a moment’s scrutiny.
Even mainstream media outlets friendly to the administration were quick to call out the falsehoods, with FactCheck.org debunking nearly every statement in the speech. While it is good to see normally somnolent US media awaken for a moment to rebut one of the administration’s endless stream of falsehoods, it seems to me that the larger story was ignored.
