Friends, I’m throwing gender pronoun caution and woke political correctness to the wind to announce that after avoiding this viral femme fatale for two and one half years, I tested positive for Covid-19 almost a week ago. At first, I thought it was a cold, but a friend with whom I’d shared a concert and late night drinks during the weekend tested positive, and sure enough, I also had it.
In case it might be of use to some of you, I’ll share brief notes about my experience. Standard disclaimers apply. I am not a medical doctor, epidemiologist or medical researcher. I am simply sharing my own opinions and experience.
MY VACCINE STATUS & TREATMENT OF COVID
First, I am unvaxxed and have no plans to get vaxxed. I do not believe the mRNA products work effectively, they have not had sufficient testing and there has been an all out assault on other forms of treatment, especially crucially important early treatment with inexpensive and safely repurposed drugs and supplements.
With the FDA’s historic 5-10 year vaccine test and trial period completely discarded in the name of a questionable and dubiously promoted global emergency, the injection of billions of people worldwide in real time is the de facto clinical trial of the mRNA vaccines, and there are already many troubling signs. It could take years to sort out the facts. In the interim, we each have to make the best decisions we can.
From the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine website.
A typical vaccine development timeline takes 5 to 10 years, and sometimes longer, to assess whether the vaccine is safe and efficacious in clinical trials, complete the regulatory approval processes, and manufacture sufficient quantity of vaccine doses for widespread distribution.
I would encourage you to visit the websites of the Brownstone Institute and Hart Health and Advisory Team to get yourself oriented and to read high quality alternative analyses written by top tier experts in clinical medicine, public health, law, economics and philosophy. Both organizations offer sober, expert critique and analysis without losing sight of the eventual need for a moral and political reckoning.
For my own case of Covid, I have been taking Vitamins D3, C and zinc supplements for a very long time, almost from the start of the pandemic. I believe they keep your natural immune system strong and helped me avoid infection for over two years. By running my system down a few days in a row before getting infected, I left myself vulnerable.
Luckily, I was prepared. As soon as I understood what was happening, I started the Frontline Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) “Early Treatment” protocol, which has been remarkably effective.
Five days after starting, and in spite of an underlying condition and being in a “high risk” group, I am symptom free, feel almost completely normal, have a pulse-oximeter reading of 97/67 and believe that barring a relapse, I should be done with this by Monday, after only one full week.
The FLCCC protocols are on their website, can be downloaded as PDF files and are available in multiple languages.
Note there are both a “preventive” protocol and a “post-vaccination” protocol for those dealing with vaccine related side effects.
The two lead doctors who created these protocols, Paul E. Marik, M.D. and Pierre Kory, M.D., M.P.A., have treated many hundreds of Covid patients since the beginning of the pandemic. They are working, treating physicians who realized during the first days of the pandemic that the need for early treatment was crucial to avoiding worst case outcomes and death.
BAT OUT OF HELL
While you are dealing with Covid, thoughts about the enormous damage done by this virus and the corrossive medicalization of politics it has ushered in are difficult to avoid. Much of my early Covidnomics series, originally written in June 2020, stands up remarkably well regarding the economic and social-political engineering.
However, in the realm of epidemiology, the question of whether the virus that unleashed this hell was created in a lab is still unanswered. A Google search for “lab leak theory” will produce a deluge of links to articles that offer more heat than light.
The question will not be resolved for years, and that is probably by design. These two articles from the Washington Post and Project Syndicate offer a starting point for investigating the current fate of the question.
I will post an update on my own Covid case next week along with two new articles that are in process – July’s Monthly Fusion report and The United States of Elvis, a commentary on the flamboyant new Elvis bio-pic by Australian director–producer Baz Luhrmann.
Thank you for your patience.
In the interim, sympathy subscriptions are shamelessly welcomed!
Thanks for all the info Michael! Though I haven't taken a super deep dive into Covid research myself, (there's only so much news you can keep up on) your opinions seems to parallel the sources of information I regularly take in.
Thanks for the candid report on your journey with "Miss Rona". The signal to noise ratio over this entire pandemic is so out of hand it's a wonder that any of us are still sane.
I think you're spot on about the uncertainty of the timeline for knowing the truth.
One thing that is certain to me is that the incessant "safe and effective" mantra will prove to be the single most effective propoganda campaign in human history. It will also turn out to be the most lethal.
